Cheap Business Class Airfare Secrets Revealed

October 28th, 2009 travel guy No comments

After one of the worst flights of my life, crammed between two guys that were not only loud but also anti personal hygiene, I had enough. I was going to find the secrets to getting cheap business class airfare. I knew it was possible, I just didn’t know how.

After hours of searching I came across a fellow by the name of Tony Morrison. Tony had 16 years experience as a travel agent for a major airline. Tony was fired from his job for what he claims was a “bogus reason”. I have no idea what the reason was and truthfully don’t really care.

Like most people who get fired, Tony was pissed. But rather than moving on, he decided to get revenge.

Tony’s revenge came in the form of an informational guide he put together that would allow the average traveler like you and me a way to save a ton of money on travel expenses at the cost of the airline.

Tony felt his old employer was overcharging, not telling the truth….basically ripping you off. Tony’s guide was a way of letting you know what was going on and the steps that could be used to avoid these tactics and get the best travel deals of your life.

Now keep in mind Tony was fired, so he is charging for these tips. The guy does have to make a living some how now that he has lost his job. The price of his guide was $49.95 but is being offered for a limited time for $24.95.

Is it worth it?

That all depends on the person traveling. For someone like me, absolutely! However, if you are happy with coach and just want a slightly discounted ticket there are other options such as Expedia and Priceline. The guide Tony has put together focuses on major discounts and upgraded first and business class seats.

The tips provided by Tony in his “Save on Airfare Secrets” manual show exactly how to get discounted business class airfare. Not having to be crammed between two smelly obnoxious guys is worth the money Tony is charging any day of the week. In fact it is possible to save much more than Tony is charging for these tips on one flight alone.

If you could choose between a crammed flight in coach or a spacious first or business class seat for the same price, which one would you choose?

The Advantages of a Cheap Business Class Flight

Do you realize what you are missing by not taking advantage of cheap business class flights?

Most travelers realize that they are not being treated the same as the people in the front of the plane, but they don’t really know exactly what booking a business class flight entails.

Upgraded Seating in Business Class

Here are some of the advantages offered to those that purchase first class airfare.

  • A separate check in area or line which provides faster check in and often better service.
  • Seats that recline further, with some going all the way back till they are completely flat.
  • Better food and drink options.   Business class flyers get actual menus with several choices to choose from.
  • Better entertainment options.  A business class flight often has a selection of new releases and sometimes movies that are still in theaters.
  • Business and first class seats have more room to move around and stretch during the flight.  You are no longer pressed up against the smelly armpit of the guy next to you.
  • Since first class tickets are more expensive if you don’t know the secrets to cheap first class airfare, there are fewer crying babies you have to listen to during your flight.
  • There are usually more experienced flyers in business class seats so they are less likely to be moaning and groaning after each little bump.

As you can see there are quite a few advantages to be had by upgrading your ticket from coach class.  The reason most passengers pass on these advantages is because of the price differences.  As expected, business class fares are more expensive than sitting coach.  They say, you get what you pay for.

However, this doesn’t always have to be the case.  When looking for plane tickets you may have noticed that different sites offer different prices.  If plane tickets have a fixed price how can they be offered for different prices based on the site you decide to purchase from?  Well, the answer is they do not have a fixed price.

I’ll let you in on another little secret as well.  You can score even better deals on cheap business class flights by using some proven insider secrets.  Shhh…don’t tell anybody.

Cheap Business Class Airfare is Not a Myth

When you think of flying in luxury, cheap first class airfare is the last thing that comes to mind.

Flying towards the front of the plane brings up visions of flight attendants serving you delicious meals…at least compared to the warmed up cafeteria chicken, burgers and bags of peanuts being served in the back.  All this while you relax in your lazy boy like seat that reclines back with no fear of interfering with the space of the guy behind you.  Instead of listening to a crying baby you are listening and watching the latest in flight movies at the same time they are showing in the theaters.

Traveling in this fashion does not come cheap.  Of course you can search around for discount plane tickets on sites such as Priceline, but there is no way to predict the price you will end up paying.  You are more than likely to get cheaper seats than you would from the carrier, but is it worth the sacrifices you have to make?  These flights often have more stops and horrendous departure and landing times.  Some people don’t mind flying in the wee hours of the morning and will do it in order to secure a cheap flight in business class.

If these cheap flights are available why do you have to go to discount travel websites to find them?  An even better question is how do they get these deals from the major carriers?  Of course it probably has something to do with the volume of tickets these sites sell, but why doesn’t the airline just cut out the middle man and force people to come to them?  It seems ridiculous that you and I can get cheaper plane tickets from someone other than the source.  The good news however is that cheaper tickets are available.  You and I know they are not a myth because we have seen them on these other sites.

If you don’t know the ins and outs of the airline industry these websites may be your only hope at finding discounted tickets.  If you do know some of the secrets you are well aware that cheap business class airfare is available to everyone with some insider knowledge and best of all it’s available without having to visit discount travel sites for your tickets.

How much could you save if you used the same tactics these online ticket brokers were using to secure their deals?  The answer is quite a bit.  In fact these tickets can often be your for the same or even less than the coach seat you would normally buy.

Next time you are walking to the back of the plane and pass through the business class section, remember, that guy sitting there with all that room, today’s paper and a nice cold beverage, may have paid less for his seat than the cramped seat towards the back of the plane that you are headed too.
